A major flight tool that is handy for checking flight options and great deals; especially for flights to Japan and within Japan. Great for seeking out flight options and wonderful deals.
Accommodation
Booking.com
A favourite of mine as it features a plethora of accommodations and easy to use. Not to mention, they often have the cheapest deals as well.
Agoda
Another option I often use as well to look out for accommodations options; especially for more luxurious options such as traditional Ryokans (旅館) inns.
Jalan.Net
An alternative Japanese accommodation site featuring a variety of accommodation options in Japan. Easy to use and reliable and available in both English & Japanese.
Wifi & Connectivity
Ninja Wifi
One of the best portable router rental options in Japan with fast speed and English support. Known for their handy portable Wifi rounter that can be connected by various devices during your travel.
Public Transportation
Jorudan (aka Japan Transit Planner)
A must-download phone app that offers a variety of public transportation route & transit options. Very handy especially if you are travelling frequently on trains & buses.
Japan Rail (JR)
The website for the main railway service provider and the famous JR Rail Pass provider. One to look out for especially if you are planning to travel around Japan with train extensively.
Kintetsu Rail
Japan's second largest rail provider after JR; featuring an extensive railway network connecting the Kansai region, Mie Prefecture & Nagoya. A great alternative if you are exploring those areas.
Rental Car
Tocoo
The leading rental car website in Japan that offers a variety of options from different rental companies. Great option for those who prefer to survey through multiple offers. And they have an English site as well.
Toyota Rent a Car
One of Japan's trustworthy rental car provider; featuring seamless options of cars and a convenient & effortless process of reservation and car pick-up. Not to mention, they have many rental outlets across Japan.
Highway Bus
Willer Travel
The leading highway bus reservation site in Japan with a wide range of network across the country. If you are looking for a more economical & cost-saving way to travel across Japan, highway buses are the way to go.

THE site to check out the locals' review of restaurants & cafes in Japan. Useful for checking out the rankings & photos of the dishes.
