Asakusa (浅草) is unquestionably one of Tokyo’s most famous districts, attracting millions of visitors each year. While Sensoji Temple (浅草寺) is undoubtedly worth visiting, its main shopping street and temple grounds can become extremely crowded, especially during weekends, holidays, and cherry blossom or autumn seasons.
